Chef/Owner Doni Tamli has over 30 years of restaurant and catering experience, most recently as owner of Cafe Ofi at the MJCCA in Dunwoody, GA. A native of the seaside city of Acco, Israel, Chef Tamli brings his knowledge of the spices and cooking styles of the Mediterranean and Middle East and offers his unique versions of traditional favorites for an extraordinary culinary experience.
Chef Tamli runs Cafe Sababa with sons, Ariel and Gil, and daughter-in-law, Julie. His wife, Ann, a third-generation native Atlanta, supports the business as well.

Cafe Sababa received 2nd Place for Best Mediterranean Restaurant in The Atlanta Jewish Times "Best of Jewish Atlanta 2017" poll, and TripAdvisor's 2014, 2015 and 2016 Certificates of Excellence Awards. Our lamb burger was noted as a "Dish Worth The Drive" on Atlanta Eats TV in November 2013; and the restaurant was honored by the Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce as the runner up for the 2011 Best of Dunwoody "Good Eats" Business Award.
Currently, Cafe Sababa is showcasing contemporary fine art by local artist, Barbara Rush.
